Forest School Holiday Club

At Forest School Holiday Club, we believe that learning never stops, even when school's out.  And what better environment to support your child's growth than the natural world?

Our holiday club is a wonderful opportunity for children, Reception age to Year 4 (age 4/rising 5 to age 9), to be immersed in nature in our magical outdoor settings. Our forest adventurers spend their days exploring, building dens, using tools, hunting for mini-beasts and creating works of forest art. We run, we climb, we balance and we laugh, thriving in spending time outdoors.  Little Crickets approach is child-led and play-based, and we encourage children's imaginations to run wild!

Forest School Essentials

We will be outdoors all day, every day, come rain or shine! To ensure children are comfortable and prepared, please bring the following items every day, labelled with your child's name and leave valuables at home:

  • Waterproof jacket and trousers - these are not provided.
  • Wellies or sturdy footwear.
  • Complete change of clothes in a small backpack.
  • Reusable water bottle, full of water, labelled with your child’s name.
  • On warmer days, pack a sunhat and apply a layer of suncream before morning drop-off.
  • Medication must be handed over to staff and will be kept in a locked box onsite (where possible, please administer all medication prior to drop off).

There's no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing... so dress them well and they will have a blast.
